Miles Medina

LMHC | Therapist
Pronouns: He/Him

Miles graduated from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, with degrees in Sociology and Psychology. He later earned his master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with an addictions focus, from the University of Colorado,  Colorado Springs.

Miles began his clinical work in community mental health and has extensive experience working with adolescents, survivors of domestic and intimate partner violence, and adults navigating trauma and PTSD. Miles approaches counseling through a multicultural and person-centered lens, believing that each client’s lived experience, identity, and story deserve to be honored throughout the therapeutic process.

Drawing from his Yaqui, Taos Pueblo, and New Mexican heritage, he values culturally responsive care and strives to create a supportive environment where clients feel seen, heard, valued, respected, and empowered. He integrates compassion, collaboration, and authenticity into his work while helping clients build insight, resilience, and meaningful change.

“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response.”

– Viktor Frankl
