My journey has brought me to work with a wide variety of people, all with unique challenges and hurdles that they face, each showing me something new about the human condition and the depths of our resilience. My approach to counseling is one that is client-centered, trauma-informed, and non-pathologizing. I strive to facilitate a peaceful space for my clients, one that is safe for each person to be themselves; to be calm, angry, sad, joyful; to have speculations, epiphanies, and curiosities; to access and love the parts of themselves that need healing.

I was born and raised in Oregon, though it’s been many years since I’ve lived there. Since then I’ve found home and adventure in equal measure in several beautiful places before settling in Albuquerque with my small family. I graduated from Linfield College with an undergraduate degree in philosophy, and much later returned to school to earn my Master’s of Social Work from Fordham University when I decided on mental health and human service as my
next calling.

In my free time, you might find me climbing rocks, hiking and camping, reading books, playing games, baking bread, or playing music. More likely, however, I’ll be with my lovely partner and our two rascally dogs.
