The Evolution Group Assists with 16th Annual Problem Gambling Conference – RGANM

For Immediate Release:
Albuquerque, New Mexico – June 25, 2012

The Evolution Group, Inc. in Albuquerque, NM is again working with the Responsible Gaming Association of New Mexico (RGANM) to prepare for the associations’ 16th annual Problem Gambling Conference, which will be held Aug. 16-17, 2012.

Executive Director Daniel Blackwood has consulted with RGANM for many years as an approved provider of continuing education credits for Counselors and Social Workers. Blackwood has held that designation from the New Mexico State Licensing Board since 2002.

In the group’s work for RGANM, they coordinate speakers and researchers who will present to the annual meeting, attended by approximately 500 counselors and social workers each year.

“The RGANM’s Problem Gambling conference is the largest conference of its type in New Mexico. The association brings internationally-recognized researchers regarding gambling issues to the state, and each year, this is the ‘must-attend’ event. It’s our pleasure to coordinate the work that the association does in this area, and to make access to services even more available for our region’s compulsive gamblers and their families.”

  1. I am a LADAC.
How can I get credentialed to provide gambling treatment?
What is the going pay rate for Bachelors level gambling counselors?
