Daniel Blackwood<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n

Founder & Chief Lantern Holder<\/a><\/p>\n

Daniel began working in the field in 1984 and obtained his Bachelors degree in Psychology in 1986 and his Masters in Counseling from the University of New Mexico in 1988.<\/p>\n

In 1998 he founded the Evolution Group, Inc. where he serves as Chief Lantern Holder and Clinical Director, with a team of diverse and talented clinicians and administrative staff.<\/p>\n

Daniel specializes in whole person therapy, meaning mind, body, emotion, and spirit, with emphasis on treating trauma, individuals who want to recover from sex and porn addiction, with couples who are trying to recover from betrayal, persons trying to recover from gambling disorder, as well as persons pursuing mental wellness and recovery from other addictions.<\/p>\n

Author of Integrity Recovery and co-author of Mindfulness-Based Somatic Emotional Processing, Daniel teaches, supervises, and is working on a new book.<\/p>\n

Through the warm and respectful bond that is formed between us, my clients heal from trauma and learn to relate to their interiors. They begin to make new choices for themselves. They feel better, have more flow in their lives, and learn to choose and act with more mindful intention.<\/p>\n

I find that down deep my clients are whole and the point of therapy is to empower this wholeness that lies within them. My mission is to light the way.<\/p>\n
