Amanda is a New Mexico native who believes in the power of holistic healing, compassion, and fostering self-resilience. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of New Mexico and her master’s degree in Counseling from Southwestern College in Santa Fe, New Mexico.<\/p>\n

Amanda values the importance of providing an empathetic, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe, supported, and empowered throughout their unique healing journey. She believes meaningful change happens through compassionate connection, small steps toward lasting growth, creative expression, and cultivating a sense of safety within the therapeutic relationship.<\/p>\n

Amanda’s therapeutic approach is integrative and incorporates Play Therapy Methods, Internal Family Systems (IFS) Informed Methods, Person-Centered therapy, Analytical Therapy, Somatic Awareness, Attachment Theory, CBT\/DBT Interventions, and Trauma-Informed care. She works with individuals of all ages and believes that creativity, curiosity, and self-compassion can support emotional regulation, deepen self-understanding, and promote lasting healing.<\/p>\n

Amanda strives to remain adaptable to the unique needs of each client while fostering emotional attunement, resilience, and personal growth. She incorporates creative interventions such as games, storytelling, art, music, and expressive activities alongside evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support insight, emotional expression, and healing in ways that are engaging and meaningful.<\/p>\n

Outside of the therapy room, Amanda enjoys spending time with her two dogs, exploring nature, finding self-regulation through music, creativity, cooking, reading, and relaxing with a warm cup of tea.<\/p>\n
