WHAT ARE ANGER ISSUES<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Anger is a natural and normal emotion. It is the fight of our natural fight\/flight response to perceived threats. For some, however, it becomes a problem when it hurts others and results in negative consequences such as damage to property, regrettable outbursts at loved ones, like spouses and kids, unnecessary conflict, road rage, or legal consequences.<\/p>\n

Typically, anger that is unmanageable results in more or even bigger problems than it resolves, such as when someones feelings get hurt, property gets damaged, the police get called, or someone else gets injured. Or, anger becomes more important than the issue you’re angry about, such as when family members are afraid to talk to you about important things because they are afraid of you. Anger that is unmanageable can actually makes a person sick or ill due to chronic hostility, tension, and conflict.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

This is usually done in an Anger Management Group setting but can also be done on an individual basis.
