Specialized Tracks
- Substance Abuse & Other Addictions
The Evolution Group,
Inc. provides for group counseling as appropriate in the following
areas:
Indigenous Native
American Track
for Recovery that offers specialized treatment services by Native
American staff that is relevant to Native American clients at
the body, mind, and spirit levels.
Co-Occurring Disorders treatment track for those clients
with a substance dependence issue as well as additional mental
health issues. These are based on an external assessment to identify
individuals appropriate for this approach, and include additional
individual or group sessions as needed.
Family Services emphasize the involvement of
key family members in treatment. These include couples counseling,
family therapy, family interventions, co-dependency treatment,
and parenting skills groups.
Gay and Lesbian Track provides for specialized
groups and individual counseling services designed specifically
for the gay and lesbian population.
Spanish Speakers
Track for clients
for whom Spanish is a first language. This includes specialized
groups and individual counseling services.
Women's Track is an evolving program
that includes women-only groups and individual counseling services
that encompass awareness of gender issues as well as other specific
treatment goals.
Domestic Violence
Specialty Track
for individuals and/or families that are struggling with this
social issue.
Anger Management
Track for adult
men or women who are not violent with family members but who
cannot manage their own personal emotional responses to situations
that end up causing difficulty in their lives.
Parenting Classes for those parents in need of
education, training or help managing anger with their children. |
